It’s good to exercise alone but it’s also good to exercise with a partner who can motivate you. When think about exercising, especially if its early in the morning, it's tempting to just leave it until another day but if you have a partner waiting, you are far more likely just to go for it!

Workout partners make exercise more fun

Lots of people consider ‘fun exercise’ to be unnecessary but it doesn’t have to be! Having a workout partner who you can relate to and have fun with, will lift your spirits and change your attitude towards working out.

Workout partners make for great healthy competition

Working at your own pace and fitness level is often the best course of action when it comes to fitness, but a little healthy competition can drive you to push harder. No one wants to trail behind, so each of you will encourage the other to dig deep and try even harder. It’s even better if you can find a workout partner who is equal to or close to your fitness level, as this will motivate you even more.

If you are really struggling with exercise, diet, or your health in general, a workout partner can be an amazing support to help you find your feet again. A good partner will also recognise when you have slipped from your regime and will offer a helping hand.
